You can find answers to a number of common questions here.
If you can't find what you are looking for, feel free to get in touch.

Q:  How can we book photography for our wedding?

A:  You are welcome to get in touch using the contact page where you can either email your contact details, or call for an informal chat about your wedding. If you decide to book, we will confirm availability for the date which we will hold for 7 days. Once we receive your deposit, this secures your date.

Q:  How much deposit is required?

A:  A £100 non-refundable deposit will secure your date.

Q:  When is the balance due?

A:  The outstanding balance for your photography coverage is due 2 weeks before your wedding date. We will arrange a meeting 2-3 weeks before the date to go through any questions, discuss any specific requirements and also to confirm any photo editing / album choices you may wish to order. Any album / photo book choices must also be paid in full no later than 2 weeks before your wedding date.

Q:  What does the photography coverage consist of?

A:  Our wedding coverage includes the full day from the morning preparations, right through your ceremony and reception / speeches up to and including the first dance. If you want more, or less, just let us know!

Q:  How many photos are taken on the day?

A:  There is no fixed amount but the number of shots in the final presentation can be anywhere between 500 - 800 images.

Q:  What equipment do you use?

A:  We use Canon DSLR cameras, lenses and accessories, including 5D Mark III camera bodies, L series lenses and Canon Speedlite flashguns.

Q:  Do you have a contract?

A:  Yes, once your deposit is received, we will send you a contract document which confirms your details, as well as what you can expect from us before and after your wedding.

Q:  When will photos be available to view?

A:  Your personal photo gallery should be available within 72 hours on our website. We will leave a small card on your guests' chairs with a link to the website and your password so they can view the photos and order any prints that they may wish to purchase.

Q:  Why is there a watermark on the photos in my gallery?

A:  The watermark is shown on the website gallery to prevent unauthorised downloading of the images. The high resolution images that you will receive do not have a watermark on them, nor do any images ordered online by any of your guests.

Q:  How much does a wedding album cost?

A:  We are pleased to offer a range of album sizes to suit everyone. Prices are available here but we are happy to provide a quote based on your exact requirements. First you need to decide on the style of album. Then the number of spreads you would like it to contain (a spread is 2 pages) and then finally what cover option you would like. Albums come with a Faux Leather cover as standard but there are other finishes available which can be quoted as required. Album costs are inclusive of all photo editing and album design.

Q:  How will the album be designed?

A:  Once all your photos are online, you can browse and select which photos you want to include in your album. Depending on the number of spreads you have chosen, this can range from 30 - 150 photos. There is no rush to choose and we encourage you to take as much time as you need before submitting your list. Once your list is chosen, the images will be edited and the spreads designed. Proofs for your album designs will be made available online for you to view and request any changes. Then, once you are happy the album will be sent to print which usually takes around 7-10 days.

Q:  Can prints be ordered?

A:  Yes, your guests can order prints direct via the gallery page where they will be able to choose from a range of sizes. We use a professional print lab to produce photos and the lead time for delivery is around 3-5 working days.

Q:  What size prints can be ordered?

A:  We are pleased to offer a range of print sizes ranging from standard 6x4 right up to A2 poster print. Options available are displayed within your gallery page.

Q:  Can I see an example of an album layout?

A:  Several example album designs are available to view here.
